A few weeks ago I attended a workshop where the facilitator asked, “what’s the one thing you want to accomplish professionally but haven’t told anyone about yet?” The answer came to me almost instantly, but it was a desire I didn’t even know I had until I was prompted to think about it.
I want to write an advice column for creative entrepreneurs.
The old school Q&A advice column format has always appealed to me. I love reading what others are wondering and I really enjoy getting to know an author through the advice they give.
So I’m putting it out into the universe. Someday, somehow, I want to write a column in a reputable outlet and I want to continue to make leadership and business guidance more accessible.
Which leads me to my ask of you: will you write to me, either by responding directly to this email or leaving a comment below, and ask me literally anything you want to know about your work?
There is no question too big or too small, and of course no stupid questions. You could ask me how to deal with a micromanager, how to step into a leadership role when you’re a naturally shy person, how to decide if you should structure your business as an LLC or S Corp, how to go about drafting a pitch deck, how to figure out the strategy for your next offer, anything. Of course, if published, your inquiries will remain anonymous.
My dream advice column starts right here, right now.
Fire away!
